Q.
How do I choose a DJ ?
- From my experience Call NO MORE
THAN 5 DJ's. Why confuse yourself? You're going to start
hearing the same stuff anyway.
- Interview ONLY 3 DJ's. You will
find one you like within this group.
- As you interview, let them ask a
lot of questions too. If they are not asking you questions,
they don't care how you want your reception to "feel" or "sound" or
be different from every other one they have done. They
should be concerned with what YOU want, not what they
have to deliver.
- After your interviews choose the
one that:
- most closely matches your
personality and style
- you like best as a person
- you feel you can work with
until your wedding
- offers the best VALUE for
your money spent, not just the DJ with the lowest
price!
Q.
How much do you charge?
A. I have several packages available including wedding, special events and
basic DJ, and I can find an entertainment package that will work for you.
Q. What kind of
music do you play?
A. It all depends on the type of event. For example, weddings require very special
attention to detail. In fact all events require different attention, and that's
why I plan each event before I arrive and change if necessary as the event
moves along.
Q. What if I'm not pleased?
A. I'm sure you will be. That's why I offer an exclusive money-back guarantee.
Q. Do you provide
backup equipment?
A. Although equipment failure is rare I have it with me. I also belong to Central
Florida Mobile Entertainers group so if something were to happen to me you
would still have backup.
Q. Do you have
a written contract?
A. Yes. It contains all of the agreements between you and me.
Q. How much time do you
allow for set-up?
A. At least 2 hours before the first guest arrives. It gives me ample time
to set up, check my sound, stop sweating, get dressed and go over my notes
way ahead of time so everything goes smoothly.
